Group 1.jpg
The Ohio University Student Equity Management Group is a student organization that manages an equity portfolio of $2 million of the university's assets under a concentrated portfolio strategy. The Group seeks to use the management of the equity portfolio as a common purpose under which we seek to provide our members with the required skills and knowledge for placement into highly competitive internships and full-time positions.

Prospective Members

Membership in the Ohio University Student Equity Management Group is open to Ohio University students of any age and major with a GPA of at least 3.2.

Aspiring analysts must have a strong interest in financial markets. Prospective candidates must be highly motivated individuals with a capacity for leadership and a willingness to contribute a significant amount of time to the Group.

Each interested student will complete an application consisting of a research task, several essays, and an overview of academic performance. The research task will test a candidate's initial financial acumen and work ethic. Based on the completed applications, the OUSEMG Board will invite candidates to participate in an interview.

We hope you take the time to stop by our office in Copeland 207 to learn more about the Group!
