Frank Caruso is currently a Senior Vice President and Assistant General Auditor for National City Corporation and has over 28 years of experience auditing financial institutions.  Frank started with National City in 1988 and within a year was promoted to a V.P. position as an Audit Manager.  He has performed audit work in every major line of business in the corporation including Dealer Finance, Commercial and Consumer Lending, Bank Investments, Broker Dealer, Credit Administration, Asset Management, Deposits, and Mortgage Lending.  He is also responsible for recruiting 24 full time and internship staff members each year for the audit department.

Prior to joining National City Frank was the General Auditor for Cardinal Federal Savings Bank for four years.  Frank started his career with Cardinal Federal in 1980 as a staff auditor after graduating from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Accounting in that same year.  He obtained his CPA in 1982 and graduated with honors from The National School of Finance and Management in Fairfield Connecticut in 1988.

Frank and his wife Cindy have been married for 26 years and have two children.  Their daughter Shannon is a 2007 graduate of Ohio University's College of Business and has been accepted to the Doctorate Physical Therapy program at Cleveland State University.  Their son Eric is attending Ohio State University and is majoring in Biology.
