Bob began his career in public accounting in 1987 with GBQ Partners LLC after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Ohio University.

Bob's primary industry experience is with construction companies where he spends over 80% of his time. He serves as the firm's Director of Construction Industry Services and is involved in the maintenance of the firm's quality control standards for construction clients. Active in many industry trade associations, he is the past President of the Central Ohio Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). Bob currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Central Ohio Chapter of CFMA and CFMA’s National Executive Committee.

In addition to his expertise in the construction industry, Bob also works with clients in other industries such as manufacturing, service, and technology and fraud service. He prides himself on getting to know his clients and their business like they are his own.

Bob is a two-time chairperson of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants Construction Industry Conference Planning Task Force. Bob has been a speaker for various construction trade and educational associations including the American Subcontractors Association; Association of General Contractors, The Builders Exchange; Associated Builders and Contractors; Lorman Educational Services and BDO Seidman, LLP.

Bob is a member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
